Chistmas Day 2012

Alexis had an incredible Christmas!
She made sure to leave out some cookies and chocolate milk for Santa on Christmas Eve.



And she woke up on Christmas morning to find that Santa had visited in the night and left her a Cinderella dress!



He also brought her the movie Toy Story.



After breakfast with my family, the little girl couldn't wait to open her presents.



Our Christmas Day was filled with family, food, love, toys



and lots of movie watching.

Visit with Santa

My little girl got to meet Santa this weekend.



She snuggled up on his lap and told him what she wanted for Christmas.



Definitely the sweetest thing I've seen all month.

Her babyhood is slipping away

The below photo was taken on November 10th.  For the first time in 3+ years Alexis went to sleep with no binky.  Earlier in the day she decided it was time to give all of her binkys to another baby as she was a big girl and didn't need them.

I am glad that the binky is gone because at this point it has a higher chance of damaging her teeth.  We were planning on giving them all to Santa in a few weeks anyway.  But.  But no binky means my little baby is almost gone.  It means that now I have a big kid.  And while I am so very happy that Lexi continues to grow, it makes me a little sad.  We are not planning on having any more children, so I know that I have to soak up every little phase of her.  And this is a hard one to let go of.
