Eric and I put the crib together today!! I think it looks great against the green wall and with the bedding. Now all we need is to get a mattress and then I can show the whole thing. Until then, here is a sneak peek.

Bookcase
Athena used to love sleeping on this bookcase when we lived in the rental house. Once we moved here, it was moved into the guest room and had tons of books that prevented her from napping. Saturday we moved the bookcase into the office (because the guest room will now be known as the baby's room) and Athena wasted no time getting up onto the shelves before I had the chance to fill them again.

Tippy Toes
One of the groups I participate in on Flickr challenged people to take a photo with the theme of 'tippy toes'. Here is my shot. I love the expression on Stella's face.

Bokeh & Heart
Weekly Words Challenge 2009
Bokeh
I love shots with good bokeh.
This next one was actually taken by Eric, but the bokeh is great!
Heart
And finally, a photo with heart bokeh.
Want to participate in the Weekly Words Challenge? Head on over to get the details from Tink.

Saturday Cookout
This past Saturday we went over to our neighbor's house for a cookout. BJ and Amy have a big charcoal grill and we prepared the following food:
Shrimp
Steak
Chicken Kabobs with Peppers and Onions
Corn on the cob
Potato Wedges
Garlic Bread
I also made a strawberry pie from some farm fresh berries. We ate the pie before I got a chance to take a photo, so I'll leave you with a photo of the berries that I took when we got them, and an in process pie shot.
Needless to say, we ate ourselves silly that night.
