Month one

Alexis will be one month old tomorrow. The time has absolutely flown by. I did a little shoot with her yesterday and here are my two favorites.

Lexi's been too small for the gDiapers, but I think they fit okay now. We are trying them out today - I'll report back and let you know how they work.

Nonna

Eric's mother, now to be known as Nonna, came to stay with us this past weekend to meet her granddaughter.

Goodbye Beau

We have been a little worried about how Beau would react to having a baby in the house. He is very needy and retaliatory. It was decided a little while ago that when Baby came home, Beau would go and live with Eric's mother. I am sad to see him go and really hope this is the best thing for him. I just want him to be a happy puppy.

The below post was the last belly bump photo taken. Alexis was born on Wednesday, August 26, 2009 at 5:18pm via emergency c-section. Apparently big babies along with a jump in Momma's blood pressure are cause for some action!

Alexis was 8lbs 13oz at birth - and while that isn't quite the 9lbs she measured, it's still big for a baby almost 2 weeks early!
